Kings College Hospital is a large Hospital situated in the heart of London.

XME were called by Sodexo to carry out a large amount of work including replacing Frost coils in various plant rooms. The coils had reached the end of their durable life and under life cycle budgets were required to be replaced. Some of these coils were critical to the continued operation of the hospital. Therefore, care needed to be taken in the scheduling of replacements. Following a consultation meeting, a programme was formed. This programme produced a contract that was efficiently controlled and delivered. The flow and return from the heating had to be isolated and pipe work removed. The coils were then replaced and the pipework reinstated. Pipework lagging was re-installed and water supplies re-commissioned
